  1. Be familiar with the anatomy of the normal heart

  2. Be aware of the correlations between the normal heart and the normal fetal echocardiogram

  3. Understand the differences between normal and abnormal interims of fetal circulation

  4. Critically assess the 4 chambers with respect to shape, size, position and septation
